In a quest for the authentic, I have chosen to explore the whole territory of yoga rather than follow any one map. I have travelled the world to study the most integral learnings available about Yoga and Ayurveda.
I have completed training and qualified as a teacher of Iyengar, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Tripsichore and Kundalini Yoga. My teaching is born of my experience. It reflects the result of my path, it is guided by my intuition and it continues to evolve.
My teaching and practice is informed by study and experience in a wide range of natural healing methods. I am a qualified Master Herbalist, with a degree in botany, an iridologist, thai masseur, and Ayurvedic therapist. I studied Ayurveda with Dr David Frawley, Dr Robert Svoboda, the College of Ayurveda, Thames Valley University (Mayur) and most recently with Dr Deepa Apté of Ayurveda Pura.
I have studied oriental medicine and osteopathy, lectured at the Bristol University Botanic Garden and assisted in a research project on the use of oils in the treatment of prostate cancer sponsored by Tenovus. I am a student of astrology and numerology (karam kriya school) and vastu.
I seek to share my wisdom, to encourage you to practice, to experience and to embody that wisdom, so that it becomes your wisdom, your memory of self. This is my seva or service.
Dancer, poet, healer and musician, I choose the path of the mystic and the archetype of the teacher. My art is to leave an energetic footprint to guide those that follow. I embrace and hold the space in which we meet. It is the space between sound and silence that is pure resonance, that is infinity, that is music, that is the sacred breath that arises from the heart.
Kundalini Yoga, as given by Yogi Bhajan, and the mystical poets are my inspiration and guides. Shiv Charan Singh is my teacher. Edward Clark and Natanaga Zhander (Shandor Remete) have guided my practice. I honour these Teachers with love and gratitude, they continue to light my way.
